Egypt wins African women's Volleyball Nations Cup

Nairobi- Kenya (PANA) -- Egypt Saturday in Nairobi beat host Kenya 3-1 (25-19,19-25,27-25 and 29-19) in the final of the 14th African women's Volleyball Nations Cup match.
The victory gave the North Africans a berth to November's World Cup in Japan, where they will represent Africa.
Cameroon beat Algeria 3-1 (25-22,25-16,20-25 and 25-21) in the continental third place play-off.
The other teams were DR Congo, defending champions Seychelles, Tunisia and Senegal.
Kenya is the All-Africa Games' champions, and must defend the crown in October in Abuja, Nigeria.
Coach Gilbert Ohanya blamed his side's defeat on "unsettled players and poor communication.
" "We will effect changes in the team and about half (of the players) will go, we want to take a strong team to Abuja," he told PANA, adding: "We are determined to retain the All Africa Games title.
