Deadly animal plague threatens cattle in Kenya’s pastoralist region


Nairobi, Kenya (PANA) – An outbreak of the deadly virus, Peste des petits ruminants (PPR), which causes running nose on goat and sheep and other respiratory ailments in cattle, has hit the pastoralist communities in Kenya, threatening the survival of 70% of the herds, veterinary experts said on Tuesday
