Côte d'Ivoire attends 11th World Policy Conference in Morocco

Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (PANA) – The Ivorian Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly, is leading a high-level delegation to attend the 11th edition of the World Policy Conference (WPC) that opens on Thursday in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, on the theme "Forces and weaknesses of Africa today."

At the opening ceremony, Mr Coulibaly will share the vision of Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara and his government on the social and economic development of Côte d'Ivoire and Africa in general.

WPC was launched in 2008 by the French Institute for international Relations (IFRI), on the initiative of his founder and chairman, Thierry de Montbrial.

The annual conference on world governance aims to promote a more open and prosperous world, and brings together high-powered decision-makers, experts and opinion leaders.
