Cote d'Ivoire: Women’s rights to be reviewed in Gabon

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The UN committee for eradication of discrimination against women (CEDEF) will on 17 Feb. examine the situation of human rights in Gabon, according to a statement from the UN High Commission for Human Rights.

It said CEDEF would share views with the Gabonese delegation on issues related to the promotion and protection of women’s rights in the country, at a conference.

The committee will also share views with the representatives of the Gabonese civil society organisations.
