Côte d'Ivoire: List of nominees for African Banker 2016 competition

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) – The organisers of the 10th edition of the African Banker Trophies have released the list of the nominees for the competition whose winners will be known on 25 May in the Zambian capital, Lusaka, as part of the annual meetings of the African Development Bank (AfDB).

A communiqué received by PANA on Tuesday says that the list is dominated by some of the biggest banking groups in Africa.

The competition is open to all banking institutions: banks, micro-finance institutions, investment banks, development financing banks and other financial service institutions.

The winners will be selected by an independent jury whose members have been chosen for their knowledge of the banking and financial landscape in Africa.

The editor of the quarterly magazine "African Banker", Omar Ben Yedder, initiator of the Trophies, many African financial institutions have changed and are now able to compete with the biggest and best banks.
