Côte d'Ivoire: ECAir to inaugurate Brazzaville-Beirut route on 2 June

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) – The Equatorial Congo Airlines (ECAir) will on 2 June inaugurate the Brazzaville-Beirut route in response to the increasing demand of the Lebanese community in Africa as well as traders, according to a communiqué issued to PANA on Tuesday.

It quoted ACAir Managing Director, Mrs Fatima Beyina-Moussa, as saying the new route was also in fulfillment of a promise made to the travelers to offer them the possibility to link Central Africa and the Middle East.

ECAir will operate a Boeing 757 on the route twice a week with the help of Trans Air Congo (TAC).

Beirut becomes the third intercontinental destination after Paris in 2013 and Dubai in 2014.

ECAir is considering extending its regional network by linking other continental destinations like Abidjan, Bangui, Yaounde and N’Djamena.

ECAir is a Congolese national company set up in 2011. It employs about 400 workers.
