Chartered accountants in Francophone zone meet

Ouagadougou- Burkina Faso (PANA) -- The International Federation of Francophone Chartered and Certified Accountants has convened its 13th meeting in Ouagadougou to discuss the theme, "Financial transparency, an essential element of sustainable development".
Some 200 chartered and approved accountants from the US and over thirty African, European and Asian countries are attending the meeting, organised by the International federation of Francophone chartered accountants in partnership with the National Order of Burkina Faso's chartered and approved accountants.
This meeting opened Monday ahead of the 10th Francophonie summit, in order to enable chartered and approved accountants in the Francophone zone to share experiences while discussing the theme, "Financial transparency, an essential element of sustainable development".
The 10th summit is scheduled 26-27 November in Ouagadougou under the theme "Space of solidarity for sustainable development," official sources told PANA Tuesday.
