Cape Town International Airport is Africa's best

Johannesburg, South Africa (PANA) - South African airports dominated the list of the 10 best airports in Africa in 2013, winning the first three places, in addition to the sixth and eighth places, according to the 2013 World Airport Awards held at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to the details of the award, posted on the website of the organisers on Wednesday, Cape Town International Airport is Africa's best, followed by Durban King Shaka International Airport and the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

PANA reports that no African airport made the top 10 list of the best airports in the world, which was won by Singapore Changi Airport for the fourth time.

The awards are voted for by airport customers from around the world and this year the survey garnered 12.1 million responses.
