Cameroon launches vaccination campaign against H1N1 flu

Yaounde- Cameroon (PANA) -- The Cameroonian Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday launched a nationwide vaccination campaign in Yaounde against the H1N1 flu virus .
The five-day campaign targets the country's health staff, children between 5 and 15 years, women who are more than six months pregnant, the elderly, as well as t hose who suffer from diabetes and hypertension.
The Cameroonian government has received from the World Health Organization 1.
3 m illion doses of vaccines that will be administered by 3,000 health workers.
Since the beginning of the year, at least 75 cases of H1N1 flu have been recorde d in the country, says the Cameroonian Health ministry.
