Cameroon, Seychelles win African Volleyball titles

Lagos- Nigeria (PANA) -- Cameroon and Seychelles have emerged the men's and women's champions at the just-ended 13th African Nations Cup Volleyball Championship in Nigeria's south-eastern city of Port Harcourt.
Cameroon's male team beat host Nigeria 3-1, while the Seychelles female side outclassed their Nigerian counterparts 3-2 at the finals Saturday.
In the men's category of the eight-day competition, Nigeria took the first set 25-13, only to succumb to the eventual winners 25-18, 25-19, 25-19 in subsequent games.
The story was similar in the women's class, where Nigeria took a 25-22 early lead, only for Seychelles to bounce back to take the next two sets 32-30, 25-17.
Nigeria levelled with a 25-20 victory in the fourth set, but Seychelles won the clincher 15-11.
