CONFEMEN conference holds in Mauritius

Grand Bay- Mauritius (PANA) -- The 51st Conference of Ministers of Education of French-speaking Countries (CONFEMEN) is under way at the International Conference Centre in the northern Mauritius town of Grand Bay, official sources have said.
Some 500 delegates from the organisation's 41 member states are consulting on various educational issues.
The delegates are expected to draft a plan of action toward consolidating the various practices concerning Francophone educational systems.
CONFEMEN Secretary General Hadiza Hima indicated that the meeting holds every other year on a theme reflecting current concerns, "to brainstorm on how to solve educational problems and share the solutions.
