CAR: Seven killed in clashes between "Seleka" and Cameroonian soldiers

Yaoundé, Cameroon (PANA) – Seven people have died in clashes between Cameroonian soldiers and "Seleka" forces loyal to the Central African Republic (CAR) government, according to an official statement issued on Thursday in Yaoundé.

The statement said two Cameroonian soldiers and a civilian as well as four CAR assailants died in the clashes, which took place on 31 December, 2013 at Ondiki, at the border between the two countries.

The cause of the clashes was not given by the Cameroonian authorities

This is the second time the two sides have clashed after a previous confrontation in November that left seven people dead.
