CAF president kicks off 4-African country tour

Cairo, Egypt (PANA) - The president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr Patrice Motsepe, has kicked off a four-country visit that will take him to São Tomé and Príncipe, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau and Morocco. 

Motsepe landed in São Tomé on Sunday night and begins his working visit on Monday where he will visit the Headquarters of São Tomé and Príncipe and meet football leadership and other football stakeholders.

Motsepe will also meet with the Head of State, Carlos Vila Nova. On Tuesday, the CAF President will be in Equatorial Guinea where he will meet with football leadership the Head of State, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. 

On Wednesday, Motsepe will be in Guinea-Bissau where he will meet the Football Leadership and Head of State, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló.   

On Thursday, the CAF President will attend the opening of the CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Morocco 2024, in Rabat.
