CAF Champions League: Al Ahly beat 10-man Kaiser Chiefs 3-0 to retain Champions League trophy

Casablanca Morocco (PANA) - Egyptian giants Al Ahly on Saturday scored three goals in the second half without reply to beat 10-man Kaizer Chiefs in their final TotalEnergies CAF Champions League match to retain the trophy and secure a record 10th title.

The South African side were reduced to 10 men at the tail end of the first half when Happy Mashiane was sent off after the referee consulted the VAR following his dangerous tackle.

The Egyptians then ran riot in the second half with goals from Mohamed Sherif (53rd), Mohamed Magdy (64th) and Mohamed Sulaya (74th).

This is Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane's third Champions League success.
