Burkina Faso president leaves for Paris Summit on financing for African economies

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - The President of Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, left Ouagadougou on Monday for Paris, where he will take part in a summit on financing of African economies.

The conference, being hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, will discuss measures to help African countries economically affected by Covid-19 and new sources of financing, the Burkinabe presidency said in a statement.

It will also focus on the treatment of debt through new strategies that could be supported by reforms to strengthen Africa's private sector and promote new investments.
