Burkina Faso: Head of High Council for Communication detained

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) – Burkina’s chairperson of the High Council for Communication (CSC), Nathalie Somé, was on Wednesday detained as part of the investigations into financial malpractices in the Council estimated at 1 billion CFA francs, PANA learned from judicial  sources.

The arrest follows the detention of the Council's director for similar reasons the previous day. There are no details of the alleged offence.
