Botswana: Botswana signs new SADC agreements

Gaborone, Botswana (PANA) – Botswana has signed amendments to four existing  protocols that were recently rectified by Southern African Development Community (SADC).

President Seretse Khama Ian Khama on Monday signed Annex 13 (Cooperation in Financial Matters), Agreement Amending the SADC Protocol against Corruption, Agreement Amending Article 3 (1) (c) of the SADC Trade Protocol, Agreement Amending Annex 1 to the SADC Protocol on Finance and Investment and Agreement Amending the SADC Protocol on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation.

Some of the amendments are part of the bloc’s efforts to foster the region’s integration.
