Best school canteens in Côte d'Ivoire to get prizes

Abidjan- Côte d'Ivoire (PANA) -- The National School Canteen Division in Côte d'Ivoire has set 10 November to award prizes to the top ten school canteens in the country, organisers said here.
Prize winners were recently selected at the end of the national competition to determine canteens that offered the best services during the 2003-2004 school year, the programme's national director Odette Loan Lago Daléba said here Thursday.
The prize-winning ceremony, placed under the sponsorship of Economic and Finance minister, Paul Antoine Bohoun Bouabré, is planned at Hotel du Golf in Abidjan where the minister of national education, Michel Amani N'guessan, will also be present.
The integrated programme for making school canteens sustainable (PIP/CS), implemented in 1989 and revived since 1998, provides for a longer term coverage of nearly 8,000 canteens in the country, based on the slogan "one school, one canteen".
