Benin to host forum on rural broadcasting

Cotonou- Benin (PANA) -- The 5th edition of the Lema rural and environmental broadcasting days (JAREL) will hold 10-20 December in Dassa, 200 km from Cotonou, the organisers announced Saturday.
They explained that the forum, aimed at promoting communication for development, is open to public and private bodies from Africa and the world at large, involved in the promotion of rural communities and other underprivileged classes in society.
The 5th edition, which besides African countries would be attended by film directors and development agents from Belgium and France, would feature video shows, debates, conferences, talks, a fair and a literacy competition.
