Cotonou- Benin (PANA) -- The first edition of the international 'Recordia' festival congregating the various ethnic communities of Ouidah and their Diaspora around the former slave post would hold on 6-15 August, the organisers announced here Sunday.
The festival is designed to reconnect Ouidah's Diaspora with their roots and culture.
In addition to cultural events, it would provide a platform for exchange of ideas on the development of Ouidah.
Ethnic communities due representation at the festival include the Creole, Haoussa, Botombu, Fon, Gin, Nago and Yorouba.
