Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - A passenger plane operated by local airline DANA Air, on a scheduled flight from Nigeria's capital city of Abuja to the economic capital city of Lagos, is feared to have crashed in Iju, on the outskirts of Lagos, on Sunday, aviation sources and eyewitnesses said.
Details are sketchy, but residents of the area said they had a loud noise and some huge smoke billowing into the air.
They said ambulances and fire vehicles were seen heading to the scene.
Some online Nigerian websites have already posted pictures of the crashed plane on their website. They said over 150 people are on board when the plane crashed.
