According to the Malian government, the loan would finance the setting up of basic facilities and support installations, as well as the production and marketing of fish products.
It would also finance the construction of two fishing ports in the villages of Faraba and Carrière, the acquisition of fish processing and conservation equipment, including construction of a cold store with a capacity of 10 tonnes, an ice production unit and a 5-tonne isothermal store.
