Angolan customs to auction 150 vehicles

Luanda- Angola (PANA) -- Angola's customs department announced Monday that it was auctioning 150 vehicles at the port after importers failed to clear them within 60 days.
According to the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP), the vehicles are part of a 244 lot to be sold.
The customs will also for the same reason, sell 70 containers of assorted goods including construction, school material, industrial equipment, military boots, chemical products, medicine kits among others.
Bidders are supposed to pay 25 percent of the price of the items on the spot and the remainder within 15 days.
There are 3,370 cars and 4,700 containers awaiting clearance from the Luanda port.
