Luanda, Angola (PANA) - The Namibian airline, Air Namibia, will soon launch direct flights from Windhoek, the Namibian capital, to Ondjiva, the capital of Cunene Province in Angola, according to the airline's representative in Angola, Marisa de Almeida.
De Almeida said the development followed the airline's desire to expand its operations within Angola's territory.
The Namibian official told the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP) that the operation would be made up of three flights per week to meet, among other issues, passengers' demand and trans-border
tourism.
Currently, Air Namíbia flies five times a week to Luanda. This will be increased to six flights from 28 October.
