Air Mauritania orders strikers to resume work

Nouakchott- Mauritania (PANA) -- Air Mauritania has issued its striking technical flight personnel with an ultimatum to return to work within three days or consider themselves fired.
The workers have been on strike since 30 April, demanding payment of outstanding medical expenses and a pay rise.
The ultimatum given by the airline's management expires (today) Wednesday.
The strike has disrupted flights within and outside Mauritania.
Air Mauritania was privatised in July 2000, giving troubled multinational Air Afrique airline 34 percent share holding.
