Air Maroc orders 4 Airbuses

Rabat- Morocco (PANA) -- Royal Air Maroc (RAM) Monday signed a contract with French Airbus for the purchase of four Airbus-A321 aircraft at a ceremony in France, the Moroccan National Airline said in a statement.
RAM will receive the first Airbus in the fourth quarter of 2003, and deploy the other A321s to serve high-density routes.
"The high standards of comfort, profitability and performance of the aircraft makes it a perfect tool to meet the growing traffic forecast," declared Managing Director Mohamed Hassad, who signed the deal for RAM.
He said it was part of a national economic development policy for the promotion of Morocco's tourist industry.
The A-321, the largest model in Airbus' famous A320 family, is highly sought after by companies with a large customer base.
The model ordered by RAM can take up to 220 passengers.
