African women entrepreneurs to meet in Cotonou

Cotonou- Benin (PANA) -- The first international summit on women entrepreneurship in Africa is scheduled to be held in Cotonou from 30 May to 1 June on the theme "women entrepreneurs in Africa : achievements and perspectives.
" The organisers said on Monday that at least 100 African entrepreneurs are expected to attend the meeting organised by the Benin Association of Businesswomen and female company directors.
Financially backed by the Islamic Development Bank and the government of Benin, the forum is expected to enable participants to analyse the shortcomings of female entrepreneurship and identify the their solutions.
Delegates from Cameroon, Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria, Niger, Togo, Mali, Senegal and Benin are expected to attend the meeting.
