Yaounde- Cameroon (PANA) -- Cartoonists from notably Gabon, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and host country Cameroon will 4-8 June meet in the coastal city of Douala in their second convention.
Sources close to the organisers of the meeting, the "Coup d'crayon" (pencil line) Association hinted the Convention's programme would include a seminar on the Internet with a view to acquainting cartoonists with the globalisation process.
Also on the convention agenda is an envisaged 2001 album of best African cartoons.
