Abdou Diouf expected in Ouagadougou Saturday

Ouagadougou- Burkina Faso (PANA) -- The secretary-general of the International Francophonie organisation (OIF), Abdou Diouf, is expected in Ouagadougou Saturday for a three-day working visit, the foreign ministry announced here Friday.
This visit, which is part of the preparations for the Francophonie summit to be held in Ouagadougou, in November 2004, will be an occasion for Diouf to hold discussions President Blaise Compaore and Prime Minister Ernest Yonli, as well as other political stakeholders, the ministry said in a statement.
Diouf will also hold working sessions with French-speaking ambassadors and representatives assigned in Ouagadougou, and the National organising committee of the 10th Francophonie summit (CNOF).
He would leave Ouagadougou Monday for Niamey, Niger on a similar mission in West Africa.
