AU to monitor elections in Libya

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The African Union (AU) will monitor the electoral process in Libya, according to Mondher Rezgui, the Representative of the AU Commission in Libya.

Speaking when he visited the premises of the local Electoral Commission in Tripoli, Rezgui restated AU's preparedness to assist the commission in training, enlightenment and logistics towards a successfull election.

Libya's electoral process, holding on 19 June, is aimed at building a new democratic Libya.
