Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (PANA) – The next African Union summit will be held from 29 to 30 June in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, African heads of State and government said on Monday in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital.
In a resolution adopted at the close of their 16th summit, the heads of State and government said African foreign affairs ministers would meet in the Equatorial Guinea’s capital,Malabo, on 26-27 June this year.
They decided that the Malabo summit would be on the theme: "Speeding up the Automation of Young Men for Sustainable Development."
The 16th AU summit, which ended on Monday in Addis Ababa, named Equatorial Guinea’s president, Teodoro Obiang Nguema, as chairman of the Pan-African organisation.
