Nairobi, Kenya (PANA) - The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) said Friday it regretted the injuries sustained by civilians following the collision of an armoured vehicle and a civilian mini-bus in the Somali capita, Mogadishu.
AMISOM chief Boubacar Diarra said an investigation had been launched to determine the circumstances that led to the accidental collision, in which five Somali civilians were injured.
“This incident is highly regrettable. AMISOM offers its sincere apologies to the injured and their families,” Ambassador Diarra said.
