70,000 displaced Angolans return to home areas

Luanda- Angola (PANA) -- More than 70,000 people displaced during the Angolan war officially returned Wednesday to their home province of Kwanza-North in northern Angola, following the end of hostilities in the protracted civil war.
According to an official Thursday, another 10,000 displaced people have voluntarily returned home since April in several municipalities under a government operation in the northern province.
However, a source close to the Technical Humanitarian Aid Unit, the displaced people were facing several social difficulties, notably lack of food, medicine and clothing.
