2023/24 CAF Champions League: Espérance, Al Ahly reach finals

Cairo, Egypt (PANA) - North African giants Espérance Sportive de Tunis and Al Ahly SC of Egypt reached the final of the 2023/24 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League on Friday when they beat Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and TP Mazembe of DR Congo respectively in their second-leg semi-final matches.

Espérance, who beat Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in Tunis last week, repeated the same score in the second-leg in Pretoria to go through on 2-0 aggregate.

Al Ahly, who held TP Mazembe to a 0-0 draw in the first-leg match in Lubumbashi last Saturday, won 3-0 in the second-leg match in Cairo to go through 3-0 on aggregate.
