2019 AFCON Qualifiers: Rwanda coach names squad against CAR

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) - Rwanda's national football coach, German Antoine Hey, has unveiled a provisional list of 19 players that will take on Central African Republic (CAR) on Sunday in Bangui in a Day 1, Group H match of the 2019 AFCON qualifier, the final of which will be hosted by Cameroon.

According to sports sources on Wednesday, the following is the list of invited players:

Goalkeepers - Eric Ndayishimiye (Rayon Sport), Olivier Kwizera (Bugesera Fc) and Marcel Nzarora (Police FC).

Defenders - Michel Rusheshangoga (APR FC), Emmanuel Imanishimwe (APR FC), Thierry Manzi (Rayon Sport), Emery Bayisenge (KAC Kénitra), Aimable Nsabimana (APR FC) and Salomon Nirisarike (AFC Tubize, Belgium).

Midfielders - Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza (Gor Mahia, Kenya), Haruna Niyonzima (Young Africans, Tanzania), Dominique Savio Nshuti (Rayon Sport), Jean Claude Iranzi (MFK Topvar Topoľčany, Slovakia), Omborenga Fitina (MFK Topvar Topoľčany, Slovakia), Djihad Bizimana (APR FC) and Olivier Niyonzima (Rayon Sport).

Attackers - Dany Usengimana (Police FC), Ernest Sugira (AS Vita, DR Congo) and Jacques Tuyisenge (Gor Mahia, Kenya).

Group H of the qualifiers will feature four teams - Côte d’Ivoire, Guinéa, CAR, and Rwanda.
