2018 FIFA U-17 WWC: South Africa reach final qualifying round, beat Botswana 11-6 aggregate

Johannesburg, South Africa (PANA) - South Africa on Saturday qualified for the second and final round qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup after beating Botswana 6-4 at the Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg.

The South Africans, winners of the first leg 5-2 at the Lobatse Stadium, Lobatse, on Dec. 1, went through on an 11-6 goals aggregate.

In the second round, South Africa will meet Morocco which qualified for that round on a walkover against Equatorial Guinea.

The other first-round, second-leg match result between Nigeria and Ethiopia is still being expected. Both teams had drawn 1-1 in the first leg in Ethiopia.
