2018 FIFA U-17 WWC: South Africa, Cameroon qualify for Uruguay

Cairo, Egypt (PANA) - South Africa and Cameroon have qualified for the
2018 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, to be played in Uruguay from 13 November
to 1 December.

In their final African qualifying match, South Africa went to Morocco
to beat the North Africans 1-0 on Saturday and qualified on 6-1 goals
aggregate, having won the first leg 5-1.

In the second qualifier, Cameroon, which drew 2-2 with Nigeria in
Benin, drew 1-1 with the Nigerians and qualified on away goals rule.
Both teams tied 3-3 on aggregate but the Cameroonians' 2 goals in
Benin gave them four points against Nigeria's 2.

The third qualifier is expected to emerge after Sunday's match between
Ghana and Djibouti jb Ghana. The Ghanaians won the first leg in
Djibouti 9-0.

Africa will be represented in Uruguay by three teams.
