2017 FIFA U-20 WC: Guinea flags off African campaign for world cup

Jeonju, South Korea (PANA) - Guinea will fly the African flag on
Saturday when it takes on host nation, South Korea, in the opening
match of the 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.

That Group A match will take place at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

Guinea is one of the four African teams at the 20 May – 11 June finals
in Korea. The other three are African Champions Zambia, Senegal,
runners-up in the African qualifying tournament, and fourth-place
finishers in Africa, South Africa. Guinea won the bronze medal in the
African qualifiers.

Guinea will play in Group A with South Korea, Argentina and  England.

Zambia plays in Group C with Portugal, Iran and Costa Rica, while
Group D features South Africa, Japan, Italy and Uruguay.

The fourth African nation in South Korea, Senegal, plays in Group F
with Ecuador, USA and Saudi Arabia.
