2017 FIFA U-20 WC: Day 3 fixtures on Friday in Groups A and B

Seoul, South Korea (PANA) - The following are Day 3 fixtures on Friday in Groups A and B at the 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in South Korea.

The two matches in each will be played simultaneously to avoid any "sell out".

Group A:
England vs South Korea, at the Suwon World Cup Stadium, Suwon
Guinea vs Argentina, at the Jeju World Cup Stadium, Seogwipo

Group B:
Mexico vs Venezuela, at the Suwon World Cup Stadium, Suwon
Germany vs Vanuatu, at the Jeju World Cup Stadium, Seogwipo

Here are Groups A and B tables going into the last group matches, with the top two teams of each group and the four best third-place teams advancing to the Round of 16.

Note - South Korea qualifies for Round of 16, even with Day 3 matches in hand. Argentina, the most successful nation in FIFA Under-20 World Cup history with six titles, on the verge of exiting the competition with 0 point. Guinea, with 1 point, has a chance to go through if it beats Argentina and England fails against South Korea.

Note - Venezuela through to next round. Mexico, silver medallists in 1977, will qualify if it beats or draws with Venezuela on Friday. 1981 Champions, Germany, may still qualify if Vanuatu falls heavily to them on Friday.
