2014 WC qualifier: Italian-born Gambian coach predicts win over Morocco

Dakar, Senegal (PANA) – Luciano Mancini, the Italian-born coach of the Gambian National football team, the Scorpions, has predicted a win over visiting Morocco when the two countries meet on Saturday in a qualifying match for the 2014 FIFA world cup.

Addressing a press conference Wednesday in Banjul, Mancini said he was working very hard on the players with a view to snatching victory from football giants Morocco.

The Moroccan team was due in Banjul Thursday.

Coach Mancini recently took over the team from Peter Bonu Johnson who now functions as deputy coach.
