2014 FIFA WC: Ivorian referee Doue Noumandiez to officiate France-Ecuador match

Fortaleza, Brazil (PANA) - After his baptism of fire during the opening match of Group B of the 2014 FIFA World Cup between Chile to Australia in Cuiaba, Ivorian referee Desire Doue Noumandiez, will be back on the field on Wednesday in final group match between France and Ecuador.

Desire Noumandiez Doue, 44, is making his debut in the finals of the World Cup. He is in Brazil with other African referees including Gambia's Papa Gassama and Algerian, Djamel Haimoudi.

During the Chile-Ecuador match, Noumandiez was assisted by one of his fellow Ivorians, Yeo Sounguifolo and Burundian Jean Claude Birumushahu as assistant referees.
