200 Angolans repatriated from DRC resettle in areas of origin

Luanda, Angola (PANA) - A total of 252 Angolans repatriated from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as part of the process of voluntary repatriation, were resettled in their areas of origin, PANA learnt Thursday from an official source here.

According to the Provincial Director of Welfare and Social Reintegration, Madalena dos Dores, quoted by the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP), the provincial executive, in coordination with the Ministry of Assistance and Social Reintegration, conducted the  delivery of various goods to these families for their rapid reintegration in the social and productive life of the country.

In addition to the resettlement kits, which included agricultural inputs, tarpaulins and cooking utensils, the local executive gave each family a basket composed of various goods, Dos Dores added.
