2 Ivorians killed, 5 others wounded in community clashes

Abidjan- Côte d'Ivoire (PANA) -- Two Ivorians were killed and five others got wounded in community clashes in Cote d'Ivoire's remote town of Iboké, reliable sources said Saturday.
The sources said the clashes occurred between native Ivorians and non-indigenous Burkinabes Thursday in Iboké near Grand-Béréby, 400km north-west of Abidjan.
One source told PANA in a telephone conversation in Abidjan that the Burkinabe community and villagers of Iboké used machetes in the clashes, which allegedly erupted over a "land dispute.
" Both communities are struggling to co-exist due to claims and counter-claims over parcels of land in the Iboké locality.
Meanwhile, security forces despatched to the area have already quelled the tension.
