15 Kenyans to undergo aviation training in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa- Ethiopia (PANA) -- Kenya Airways plans to send 15 trainee pilots to the flying school of the Ethiopian Airlines for a two-year piloting course, the public relations department at Ethiopian Airlines said in Addis Ababa.
Kenya Airways will pay a total of 6.
3 million Birr (about 50,000 US dollars per person) as intuition fees for the training that starts in the next two months.
The students will receive ground lessons and flights training before they graduate with commercial pilot license.
Established some 40 years ago, Ethiopia's flight training school gives flying lessons with 11 Cessna and 172k single engine aircraft for student pilots from mainly African and Middle East countries.
Through many Kenyan pilots have graduated from the flying school, this is the largest batch from Kenya to ever enrol there at once.
