100 Guineans flee Ivorian crisis

Conakry, Guinea (PANA) - About 100 Guineans fleeing the armed clashes in Cote d'Ivoire, following the country's disputed elections, have arrived in their country, state radio reported Tuesday.

They arrived on Sunday and were stranded in the locality of Mandiana (East), due to lack of resources to make the journey to their various destinations.

Efforts are being made to find buses to convey them to their destinations.

President Alpha Condé has asked the country’s local authorities and security forces in the areas close to the Ivorian border to receive all those fleeing the Ivorian post-election clashes.
